 Ruben is a healthcare technologist, innovator and executive with 18 years of experience working in various IT operations, management, and leadership roles with successful healthcare technology start-ups such as Emageon and Awarix, as well as global enterprises such as McKesson, Change Healthcare, and Becton & Dickinson.

In his current role at HealthInsights.ai as Vice President of the Healthcare and Life Science Practice, he leads and manages the portfolio of products and services that HealthInsights and Syntelli offer to Health Systems, Payers, Pharmaceuticals, and Biotech companies. He is responsible for the creation of strategic partnerships and overall growth of the practice across the United States. He engages with healthcare leaders and executives to identify, evaluate, and develop business intelligence (BI), clinical decision support, and data analytics solutions that will bring the most value out of their data to match their business strategies and drive optimal outcomes.

Prior to this role, he developed data and analytical platforms and products as a program manager for global medical device company Becton & Dickinson and as senior product manager for McKesson and Change Healthcare. He holds a Bachelors of Science Cum Laude in Management Information Systems, completed his Master of Engineering in Information Sciences in 2012, and received his Executive Masters of Science degree in Healthcare administration in 2015 all from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

He is an active member of HIMSS and has served on American College Health of Healthcare Executives Forum the past six years and currently serves as director of Engagement and Membership.

Shikha is HealthInsights’s CEO and the powerhouse behind architecture decisions and technology direction. She knows that keeping big data solutions simple will ensure successful deployments. Her belief in the use of agile methods helps build high-value deliverables with fast times to market and proven results.

Shikha has two decades of experience delivering advanced IT solutions. Her focus was on big data, long before anyone called it ‘big data’. Ever since, her experience has grown within the industry, in data and data analytics, master data management, and architecting Big Data Solutions for her clients.

She believes in using big data for social good and is actively involved in the community as a board member of the Analytics & Big Data Society in Charlotte. Shikha is also on the communications advisory committee of SIM Charlotte, and is the owner of the largest data visualization and data science meetup in Charlotte.

Riddhi is a seasoned leader with expertise in formulating and executing IT and business strategies, leading domestic and International portfolio, and Digital transformations. She is passionate about empowering people through collaborative partnerships and making value-add, fun. She brings extensive experience across the entire Solution Delivery Lifecycle. This includes responsibilities for requirements through design and delivery extending into project, program, and portfolio management.

 Denis brings over 20 years of experience in systems analysis and design, system and application development (desktop, mobile, web, client-server), data modeling, database design and management and client-server administration spanning multiple industries that include technology, banking, security, pharmaceuticals, energy, logistics, and retail.

He is owner of one U.S. Patent, a Spotfire certified professional and trainer, and holds Google Adwords and Analytics certifications.

The 12 years of Syntelli experience, Denis now will share it to HealthInsights.ai through Spotfire performing installations, customizations, data visualizations, custom development (JavaScript, IronPython, .NET), and custom application development within Spotfire. He assists senior leadership with data-driven decision making and believes that everything can be deconstructed into its simplest and primitive form with data. 

Whether it’s a simple data visualization or a highly intricate system, Denis applies this “data first” approach in designing any of his solutions. He says, “The solution that you come up with will only be as good as your data and your understanding of it”.

When Denis isn’t breaking down large datasets, you can find him spending time with his wife, 4 year old baby girl (#TheDennistator aka #AmoryKim), 2 year old baby boy (#TheDensecrator aka #AzraelAurelius). He is especially proud of his growing collection of guitars.

 Jeff Rix has earned a reputation as a dynamic and accomplished technical leader in the data analytics profession with experience guiding key projects, managing consulting engagements, and providing valuable analytic insights. Easily able to move from high-level planning to hands-on development and database architecture, he ensures that companies and clients enjoy the best possible results. His progressive experience has led to resounding success across his 14+ year career working with leaders in the energy, finance, manufacturing, and education industries.

Jeff is a Certified Scrum Master and holds technical certifications from Amazon, Tibco, and Oracle. He also has completed 30 hours of Graduate Level courses in addition to having 20+ training credentials from organizations including Edx, Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, and Coursera, among others.

Jeff is a veteran of the Army Reserves where he was enlisted for six years as an IT Specialist.

Jeff is a dedicated and proud father and has a school aged son and fraternal twin toddlers. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, and video games.

Sarah has more than 16 years of experience across the healthcare continuum, ranging from direct lab work to extensive data analytics and risk architecture building for both Ambulatory and Inpatient sites of care. While working directly for healthcare organizations she developed solutions for strategic hospital and ambulatory initiatives and departmental analytics including Surgery, Quality/MIPS, Finance/Coding, Scorecard Development and roll out, and population health analytics for Accountable Care Organizations and Value Based Agreements.
She also spent 8 years in clinical research working on NIH funded grants and the full spectrum of drug and device clinical trials. During her tenure working directly for healthcare organizations she completed her PhD in Public Health, Epidemiology. She moved from research directly to data and analytics after completing her PhD and hasn’t looked back. Diving in she worked with Big Data companies to bring risk insights and cost savings to clinically integrated networks.

Outside of the never-ending task of keeping up with the changes and advancements in healthcare and data, Sarah enjoys spending time with her daughters in the kitchen.
